Successfully passing the state examination qualifies you to provide professional services in the field of conditioning and recovery for large animals. You may perform manual therapies on horses and ruminants for a fee, conduct conditioning exercises, design recovery plans, and provide client consultations regarding the care of these animals. These activities can be carried out on a self-employed basis, without the need to work as an employee under a veterinarian or physiotherapist.
This qualification is valid within the Czech Republic; however, thanks to the Europass  —which confirms qualification at the EQF 4 level (equivalent to secondary education with a school-leaving examination)—you can also demonstrate your competencies in other European Union countries.

A graduate of the program who does not pass the professional examination may provide conditioning and regenerative care for horses owned by themselves or their close associates, provided this is done without remuneration.
However, if you already possess other professional qualifications that legally authorize you to provide professional conditioning and regenerative care for horses in the Czech Republic (e.g., as a veterinarian, veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or animal physiotherapist), completing this program expands your professional competencies and enables you to provide these services at a professional level.

Each candidate must master all modules listed in the qualification standard, covering both the theoretical and practical components. We therefore recommend carefully reviewing every point to ensure you are well-versed in the relevant topics, possess the necessary knowledge, and can not only apply it during the exam but also explain it clearly.
Experience shows that some candidates arrive with skills limited to a single specific method. Even if they have mastered that method, it may not be sufficient to meet all the exam requirements.
You should therefore review the qualification standard thoroughly and ensure your knowledge and skills are sufficiently broad. During the exam, you may demonstrate techniques from any method, but you must understand them, know how to apply them, and be able to explain them clearly.

Yes, depending on the training you have already completed in the field of large animal rehabilitation and recovery prior to the exam, you can either sign up for the full program or select only specific modules (courses).
This allows you to supplement or expand your existing knowledge and skills while gaining fresh insights into professional practice and current approaches in the field.

Yes. There is no one-year time limit for completing the entire program.
We understand that this is a demanding course of study, which is why we offer the option of an individual pace—you can sign up for individual modules (courses) one by one and spread the program out over a longer period.

Yes. This course of study is open to applicants with any educational background. A secondary education with a school-leaving examination (maturita) is an advantage but not a requirement.

Yes. Upon completing the entire training program with a minimum attendance of 80%, each participant receives an official certificate of completion for the retraining course "Large Animal Reconditioning and Regeneration Specialist" (41-138-M).
However, this program does not award an academic degree.

Certainly.
Our educational program offers theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are typically not included in most international courses for equine manual therapists. You will gain insight into areas such as equine first aid, nutrition, applied orthopedics and neurology, anatomy, ethology and welfare principles, and the relevant Czech legislation governing this profession.
The program also includes training in at least three additional therapeutic techniques — such as fascial manipulation, the fundamentals of craniosacral osteopathy, joint mobilization, manual lymphatic drainage, conditioning exercises, and recovery procedures. This will significantly expand your therapeutic capabilities and enhance your employability, both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
You must register for the professional examination even if you hold the aforementioned foreign qualifications and degrees. Unless you are also a veterinarian, veterinary technician or assistant, or veterinary physiotherapist, you cannot officially operate a business or provide professional services in this field.
If you wish to offer your services professionally in the Czech Republic, foreign qualifications and certifications (such as EEBW or MMCP) are insufficient to obtain authorization to operate an independent business in the field of animal conditioning and recovery. Unless you are also a veterinarian, veterinary technician or assistant, or veterinary physiotherapist, you must pass a professional examination to legally perform this activity as a self-employed professional.
